Reminders from Hadith to motivate us to do dua!

Abu Hurairah (r) reported, the Prophet (BPAH) said, “The servant is nearest to his Lord when he is prostrating to Him, so make supplication in this state.” Muslim) Source: Fiqh-us-Sunnah, 4: 111a

The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) said: The servant is nearest to his Lord when he is prostrating to Him. So, multiply making supplications in this state . [ Ahmad Muslim and Abu Dawood ]

Bukhari :: Book 9 :: Volume 93 :: Hadith 586
Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Apostle said, "Every night when it is the last third of the night, our Lord, the Superior, the Blessed, descends to the nearest heaven and says: Is there anyone to invoke Me that I may respond to his invocation? Is there anyone to ask Me so that I may grant him his request? Is there anyone asking My forgiveness so that I may forgive him?. " (See Hadith No. 246,Vol. 2)
